What problem it solves

The Evidence Organizer is now built directly into the Nora Matter Workspace. It takes unstructured collections of documents — court filings, emails, text messages, photos, reports — and turns them into a structured, searchable evidence archive. Every piece of evidence gets tagged with dates, sources, relevance scores, and connections to other documents. Access it through your Workspace by opening a Matter.

Who it is for

Self-represented litigants and advocates managing high-conflict cases.

What you need before starting

  • Digital copies of your documents (PDFs, images, or text files)
  • An active Nora Matter Workspace
  • Verified access via donation or grant support

    What the tool does automatically

Pulls dates, names, and recurring terms from text when you click 'Extract', creating draft evidence items.

  4. 4

    What you review manually

Confirm dates, fix wrong tags, and mark what is strongest evidence in the Evidence tab.

  5. 5

What you get at the end

A searchable evidence register and a structured foundation for your case timeline.

  6. 6

When to stop and ask for help

Public vs verified vs compute-limited

Full use requires verified community membership to manage cost, abuse risk, and sensitive case material. Nora's Law is a platform and framework—not legislation. These are software tools, not votes or statutes.

Public tools stay public first. Join is for trust, heavier workflows, and collaboration—not a substitute for counsel.
