Effective date: April 19, 2026. These terms are a starting point for a public beta — have counsel review before relying on them in litigation or regulated contexts.
1. Agreement
By accessing or using websites operated by NORA Foundation ("NORA," "we," "us") — including pages served at norafoundation.io and related subdomains — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. The service
NORA provides informational content, software demonstrations, and may offer account-based features (including experimental "Meridian" workspace functionality). Features may change or be withdrawn without notice during beta.
3. Accounts & eligibility
Where registration is offered, you must provide accurate information and safeguard your credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you notify us of unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You will not misuse the services — including attempting unauthorized access, disrupting infrastructure, uploading unlawful content, or using the services to violate others' rights. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
5. Intellectual property
Site content, branding, and software are protected by applicable laws. Open specifications (such as Canon) are published under their respective licenses where stated.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NORA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUTS FROM ANY AI OR ARCHIVE FEATURE ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be indicated on this page with an updated effective date where practicable.
